9 and Older Session

Time: 9:30 AM - 10:15 AM (Off-Ice Skill Work in the Clubhouse)
Time: 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM (On-Ice)

Focus: Tactical Power Skating

In this intensive clinic, players aged 9 and older will focus on balance, stability, edge work, and crossovers to build a solid skating foundation. Our coaches will also teach advanced techniques to lengthen your stride and maintain speed while tactically maneuvering your body and puck. This session emphasizes quick hands, efficient skating, and the elusiveness needed to outmaneuver opponents in any game situation. As part of our MAD Skills Series, we're adding a 45-minute off-ice shooting lesson, led by our expert Hockey Hut staff. This enhancement allows us to dedicate more of our valuable on-ice time to Tactical Power Skating, giving players the opportunity to refine their skating technique and elevate their overall performance.

By separating shooting practice from skating, we can focus intensely on each skill, ensuring that every player gets the most out of their time with us. This new structure not only allows for more comprehensive training but also helps players develop a stronger foundation in both areas.
