Hockey Tots is the perfect introduction to ice hockey for kids ages 3-6! This 6-session program helps children develop balance, coordination, and confidence in a fun, structured, and non-intimidating environment. Whether your child is stepping onto the ice for the first time or just getting comfortable in a rink setting, this program makes learning hockey exciting and accessible. - typical age 3-6
Weeks 1-3: Kids start in boots or sneakers to adjust to the rink environment and work with our coaches. They’ll need shoes with good traction, a bike or hockey helmet, warm clothing, and gloves. Elbow and knee pads are optional but recommended for extra protection.
Weeks 4-6: Players transition to skates as they gain confidence and mobility on the ice. (Please note: The Hut does not provide skate rentals—players must bring their own.)
This program provides a safe, supportive, and fun introduction to hockey, helping young players develop key skills while building excitement for the game.
